Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 April 2026

1. About these terms

TurfDoctor is operated by [COMPANY NAME] Pty Ltd (ACN [ACN], ABN [ABN]), a company registered in Western Australia. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” in these terms refer to that company. References to “you” and “your” refer to the subscriber.

These terms govern your use of the TurfDoctor service. By starting a subscription you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not start a subscription.

2. About the service

TurfDoctor is a monthly subscription advisory service. Each month we send you written advice about caring for your lawn, prepared with reference to your suburb, your grass type, the season, and the lawn details you provide at signup.

Two subscription tiers are available:

  • The Prescription — $6.90 per month. Monthly written advice tailored to your lawn.
  • The Specialist — $12.90 per month. Everything in The Prescription, plus deeper agronomic context, a preview of the month ahead, and one product recommendation per month.

3. Our advice is general in nature

TurfDoctor advice is general lawn care guidance. It is not licensed agronomic, horticultural, chemical safety, veterinary, or environmental advice. Dr. Turf is a brand persona, not a registered practitioner of any regulated profession.

You are responsible for verifying every recommendation against the current product label, current Water Corporation restrictions, and any applicable local council bylaws before acting on it. Always read product labels and follow manufacturer instructions. If you are unsure whether a recommendation is safe in your specific circumstances, do not act on it — consult a qualified professional.

Outcomes depend on factors outside our control: weather, soil variation, irrigation consistency, application accuracy, neighbouring vegetation, pest pressure, and many others. We cannot guarantee a specific result.

4. Trial period and billing

New subscribers receive a 30-day free trial. Your card is not charged during the trial. On day 31, we charge the monthly fee for your tier and continue to charge monthly until you cancel.

Billing is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We may change pricing in the future. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any new pricing applies to your subscription.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@turfdoctor.com.au from the address on your subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to that month’s prescription.

We do not refund the unused portion of the current month. See our refund policy for full detail, including how the Australian Consumer Law applies.

6. Acceptable use

Your subscription is for your own personal use, for one or more lawns at your residential properties. You may not on-sell, redistribute, or republish our written advice as your own work or as part of a competing service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of TurfDoctor is limited to the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of plants, lawn replacement costs, loss of property value, or loss of enjoyment.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law and that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a breach of a non-excludable guarantee, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the price you paid for the service, at our option.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify subscribers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
