Refund Policy

Last updated: 21 April 2026

1. The 30-day trial is genuinely free

Every new subscription begins with a 30-day free trial. Your card is registered with our payment provider during signup, but it is not charged at any point during the trial. If you cancel at any time within those 30 days, you pay nothing.

Because no money has been taken during the trial, no refund is necessary.

2. After the trial: monthly billing

On day 31, we charge your card the monthly fee for your tier — $6.90 for The Prescription, $12.90 for The Specialist. Each charge buys you access to that month’s prescription and the associated emails.

Billing then repeats monthly on the same day until you cancel. You will receive a receipt by email for every charge.

3. No refund for the current month

If you cancel after the trial, your subscription ends at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep access to that month’s prescription and any emails scheduled for that period.

We do not refund the unused portion of the current month. This is the standard arrangement for monthly subscriptions and lets us keep the price low.

Once the current period ends, your subscription stops automatically and your card is not charged again.

4. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

If we fail to deliver the service with reasonable care and skill, or fail to deliver it at all, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law — which can include a refund, a replacement service, or compensation, depending on the circumstances. To raise a concern of this kind, email hello@turfdoctor.com.au with the details. We will respond within 5 business days.

5. How to cancel

Send an email to hello@turfdoctor.com.au from the address on your subscription. The word “cancel” in the subject line is enough — you do not need to give a reason.

We will confirm cancellation by reply within 1 business day. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

A self-service cancel option in your account page is on the roadmap and will replace this email-based process when it ships.

6. Failed payments

If a monthly payment fails — for example, because your card has expired — we will retry the payment over the following days and send you a reminder by email. If the payment still has not succeeded after a reasonable period, your subscription will be paused and you will stop receiving the monthly prescription. You can resume by updating your card details and contacting us at hello@turfdoctor.com.au.

7. Questions

If anything in this policy is unclear, write to hello@turfdoctor.com.au and we will explain it.
